What Is Rasoi Seva?

रसोई सेवा — अन्नदान की पवित्र परम्परा

Rasoi Seva at the Premeshwar Peeth is the organised daily practice of preparing and offering pure sattvic meals to every person who arrives, without condition. Under the guidance of Jagadguru Swami Shri Satishacharya Ji Maharaj, this Anna Daan Seva runs 365 days a year. Food is first offered as bhog to the presiding deity and then distributed as prasadam to pilgrims, saints, students, and the destitute.

Thousands of devotees travel to the Braj region, through the summer heat and winter months, to seek blessings. This community kitchen seva ensures no one who arrives at the Peeth leaves without a meal.

अन्नं न निन्द्यात् तद्व्रतम्। अन्नं बहु कुर्वीत। तद्व्रतम्।

Taittiriya Upanishad "Never disrespect food. Produce food in abundance. Offer food — this is the sacred vow.
